It has been too long friends.
The summer is making it's slow retreat. If you listen closely, you can hear it leaving - it's trying to sneak away, but it's leaving makes me sad. Although autumn is another favorite season, the warmth of summer carries comfort on it's wings. I'm still holding on to the hope that these dog days of summer will roll over, and we'll get another shot at this beautiful season.

Accomplishments:
-Mexico
-Family Vacations
-Hanging out/Boating with Friends
-Almost made it to three of the five Great Lakes
-Made Beer (what a delicious endeavor)
-Weddings

Those things we missed:
-Camping
-Fishing
-Seeing those distant friends
-Concerts

...But who's counting?
